Studio George invites photographers, digital and visual artists to submit works for our upcoming exhibition exploring Liminal Space and Italian Vaporwave; two worlds that blur the line between nostalgia and surrealism, between what was, what is, and what might never be.
Category One: Liminal Space
Those strange, quiet moments between places. Empty hallways at 3AM, hotel pools that look like forgotten cathedrals. The places that make you pause; not for what’s there, but for what’s missing. Studio George always had an affinity for liminal space photos (yes, we’re on that subreddit) and wanted to feed our passion!
Category Two: Italian Vaporwave
Think faded postcards from the future. Neapolitan sunsets in VHS static. Neon lights on Venetian canals, and the pulse of ‘80s synth aesthetics filtered through sun-faded film.
