Studio Coolbucks has been created in honor of my uncle George—a traveler and photographer; a larger-than-life presence, and the person who taught me how to think about art, not just make it.

He believed in making art — even if not everyone likes what you make.

Once you create art, you must let it go.

Through his refusal to shrink himself he taught me that art should be bold, and above all, honest.

Studio George is a space built on those lessons: to create with intention, not control.
